Thông tin từ Bộ công thương cho hay, ngày 19-6 Thương vụ Việt Nam tại Úc đã phối hợp cùng Công ty kinh doanh nông sản 4waysfresh quảng bá trái vải Việt Nam tại chợ đầu mối rau quả của thành phố Adelaide (bang Nam Úc).
Đây là lô hàng 9 tấn vải U hồng thu hoạch sớm để xuất khẩu đợt một chính thức cập cảng, ra mắt người tiêu dùng tại hai bang Tây Úc và Nam Úc.
Theo Thương vụ Việt Nam tại Úc, hiện tại Úc đang là mùa Đông và các lệnh hạn chế nhằm kiểm soát dịch COVID-19 đang được áp dụng nghiêm ngặt. Nhưng nhiều chủ cửa hàng, siêu thị, các nhà nhập khẩu nông sản tiềm năng vẫn tìm đến địa điểm tổ chức tìm hiểu, thống nhất cách tiếp thị, đồng thời mua hàng về bán.
Theo đó, tại bang Tây Úc việc phân phối vải U hồng được thực hiện từ ngày 18-6. Ông Lý Hoàng Duy, Giám đốc công ty 4waysfresh cho biết, vải U hồng với tên tiếp thị là Golden Lychees đã được đặt mua hết chỉ trong một ngày. Tại bang Nam Úc việc tiêu thụ trái vải cũng sẽ hoàn thành nhanh chóng.
Theo ông Duy, sau thành công của lô hàng 9 tấn vải U hồng đợt một, công ty nhập thêm, dự kiến 18 tấn vải mỗi tuần. Bên cạnh đó, công ty đang nghiên cứu nhập khẩu măng tây của Việt Nam
Thương vụ Việt Nam tại Úc cho biết thêm, nhằm đẩy mạnh xuất khẩu vải theo yêu cầu của Bộ Công Thương, Thương vụ đã báo cáo và được sự ủng hộ của Đại sứ quán, Tổng Lãnh sự quán tại Sydney, Tổng Lãnh sự quán tại Perth để chuẩn bị tiến hành cho chiến dịch này tại nhiều bang của Úc.Trước mùa vụ, các nhà nhập khẩu đã được Thương vụ giới thiệu và trao đổi biện pháp bảo quản phù hợp cho các lô hàng vận chuyển bằng tàu biển; phối hợp với Hội sinh viên Việt Nam tại Úc tổ chức cuộc thi quảng bá hình ảnh quả vải Việt Nam; xây dựng nhiều hoạt động quảng bá như giới thiệu quả vải Việt Nam trên mạng xã hội…
Theo Bộ Công Thương, trong tháng 5 vừa qua, hàng nông sản Việt Nam xuất khẩu sang thị trường Úc đạt hơn 22,6 triệu USD, tăng 42% so với cùng kỳ năm trước.
